Today, there was no indictment in the Eric Garner case. When I read that, I could not breathe. Yet again, I felt that justice failed us.
A man was killed because of an illegal chokehold. He was unarmed. If you weren’t outraged about Michael Brown, then you should be, at least, outraged by this. The New York City police officer committed an illegal act that resulted in the death homicide of an unarmed man. How could there be no indictment?
